Each year in the UK, people are killed, injured and suffer work-related illnesses while carrying out their jobs. So Health & Safety is a significant concern. The government, employers and workers all have an essential role to play in reducing deaths and accidents and preventing ill-health at work. This package is aimed at people starting out in the construction industry and allows then to gain the Green CSCS card. Included in this one of cost are the following
- Online Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment course to be taken in your own time.
- Invigilated external exam, to be taken in exam conditions at your own computer using a webcam once Online course is complete and candidate is confident.
- APB Consultants will arrange a suitable time and location for your CITB touchscreen test.
- Upon completion of the above courses APB Consultants will submit all the information to allow for your CSCS card to be sent to your address.
- Upon placing an order the following will process will be followed.
- Login details to the Level 1 online course will be sent to the registered email address along with the instructions required to carry out this part of the test. Please allow up to 12 hours for this.
- A member of APB Consultants will be in contact with you to discuss your target completion dates for the full application, and formulate the best plan for each individual. The relevant information will also be taken here to carry out the CSCS application.
- Once the online course is complete and the candidate is confident, an online exam is booked to be carried out in exam conditions. The exam is invigilated by an external body, and upon successful completion the Level 1 Health and Safety in a construction Environment is issued.
- APB Consultants will arrange a suitable time and location for the candidate to take the CITB “Touch screen test” at a CITB approved test centre.
- Once both of these are completed your CSCS application will be submitted and your Green card be sent to you.
- The cost includes for 1 retake of either the invigilated exam or the CITB touch screen test. Additional retakes will be charged at £45 + VAT after this.
